Thank You, Mt. Dora!

Wow! What an amazing day! I met so many fascinating people with so many stories and ideas. If you read the news on my home page, you would have seen the idea about the memory jar. When dealing with the loss of a loved one, the void is difficult to handle, but a woman I met shared an idea that really helped a family dealing with the loss of their mom. Whenever they thought of something she said, an event, or another memory, they wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in a jar. Every once and a while, when the family gathered together, they would read the memories and celebrate the life of their mom. What a gift! Thank you, dear guest, for sharing!

I met so many great families and folks today and enjoyed all the conversations. Life is amazing, and I would like to thank Barrel of Books and Games for hosting my book signing event. What gracious hosts they were. If you have not visited it, please do; you will find it a fun place to visit.
